February 4, Minsk /BELTA/. A Republican Commission for the Coordination of Payments for Work Performed in Construction, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Petr Prokopovich, will be established in Belarus. This decision is contained in Resolution No. 92 of the Council of Ministers dated January 31, the press service of the Belarusian government informed BELTA.
The body is being established to coordinate issues of debt repayment and ensure timely financing of construction and installation work performed. This applies to facilities financed fully or partially from the republican and local budgets (including state targeted budget funds, state extrabudgetary funds, external state loans and external loans attracted under government guarantees). It also concerns the construction of residential buildings, with the exception of those financed using funds from foreign investors.
The new resolution, which enters into force after its official publication, approves the regulation on the republican commission. It will operate on a permanent basis. The main tasks of the body will be to monitor the state of debt and the reasons for its occurrence by sources of financing for the construction of facilities, to take measures to ensure timely and full payment for work performed, and to control the implementation of the commission's decisions.-0-
