The Government of the Republic of Belarus has decided to extend the period for the circulation of personal privatisation vouchers "Imushchestvo" until December 31, 2025. The corresponding resolution was adopted on August 24, 2022.

Currently, 162 open joint-stock companies operating in various sectors of production and services are offered for exchange for "Imushchestvo" vouchers in the republic. Of these, 14 enterprises are located in the Vitebsk region.

As of today, shares of enterprises such as "Polotsk Steklovolokno", "Remontno-stroitelnoe upravlenie №3" of Novopolotsk, and Vitebsk Motor Repair Plant may be the most attractive.

It is possible to exchange personal privatisation vouchers "Imushchestvo" owned by citizens for state shares at the branches of OJSC "ASB Belarusbank" performing these operations.

In Vitebsk itself, "Imushchestvo" vouchers can be exchanged at Belarusbank branch №200/2024 at 9a Smolenskaya Street.

Consultation and information on exchanging "Imushchestvo" vouchers for shares of joint-stock companies can be obtained by calling 147. When applying, it is necessary to present a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus and the "Imushchestvo" voucher certificate.

When exchanging, Belarusian citizens have the right to use vouchers issued to them personally, as well as those received by gift agreements and/or inheritance from close relatives (parents, children, spouses, siblings, grandchildren, grandmothers, grandfathers, mother-in-law, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and father-in-law), provided that only vouchers issued to close relatives are gifted (inherited), but not exceeding 250 personal privatisation vouchers "Imushchestvo" during the entire period of gratuitous privatisation.

By acquiring shares, a citizen becomes a shareholder of the respective joint-stock company and, according to the legislation, is granted the right to participate in the management of the company, receive information about its activities, as well as the right to sell, gift, and transfer shares owned by them by inheritance.
