The Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control has assessed the conduct of the centralized examination and centralized testing in elective subjects at all 22 points located in 5 cities and 8 districts of the region.
The following issues were studied: organisation of transportation (delivery) and escort of students to the CE and CT venues; access control to the CE, CT venue buildings; conditions created in educational institutions for conducting centralized tests; methodological and informational support of the process; provision of medical assistance, etc.
The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control, member of the State Commission for Control, V.V. Godyatsky inspected the progress of the admission campaign at the educational institution "Vitebsk State Technological University".
Vladimir Vladimirovich noted the good organizational preparation for
centralised testing, and also stressed the importance of applicants using only the knowledge gained and
refraining from attempts to use mobile phones and other improvised means, reminding that last year, for violating the procedure for conducting entrance examinations in the
Vitebsk region, 2 students were removed for having cheat sheets and bringing a phone.
In total, in the Vitebsk region, 5410 applicants registered for the CE in a subject of their choice,
and 647 for the CT. The results of the first day showed that overall attendance at the CE was good and amounted to 97%, and attendance at the CT was 87%. Of the previously registered students, 18 did not attend the CE, of whom: 6 students were absent for valid reasons and will be able to retake the exam on a reserve day, 4 were excused for medical reasons, and 8 were external students.
