Unused state property objects found new owners at the regular auctions held on January 12 at the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee.
An unused cowshed in the village of Ignalino was put up for auction for the first time, starting at the base price. The sole buyer was a private organisation from Novopolotsk, which is involved in ecotourism and owns its hunting grounds in the Verkhnedvinsk district. The new owner plans to breed marble cows here and organise the production of delicacy products.
A workshop in the village of Zabelie, Beshenkovichi district, was also put up for auction for the first time, starting at the base price, and was sold to a single buyer – an individual from Minsk. The buyer plans to engage in craft activities, with a blacksmithing production to be organised on the workshop's premises.
