In accordance with the directive of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, a month-long campaign is being held in the region to ensure safe working conditions during the preparation and conduct of spring field work.

Mobile groups have inspected 58 organizations and 143 facilities of the agro-industrial complex, where 636 violations of labor safety legislation were identified.

The main violations are related to non-compliance with the requirements for safe operation of machinery and repair work on agricultural machinery.

In 5 farms, the medical examination of machine operators and drivers was carried out without a breathalyzer.

Work was organized without personal protective equipment in Sennensky, Rosson, Verkhnedvinsk, and Gorodok districts.

Numerous violations were identified in the agro-industrial complex organizations of Postavsky, Dubrovensky, Shumilinsky, and Chashniksky districts.

As a result of the mobile groups' work, the operation of 60 units of equipment was suspended, 11 types of work were prohibited, and 43 employees were dismissed from work.

Through the adoption of organizational and disciplinary measures, some violations were rectified as they did not require financial expenditure.

Specialists of the region's sanitary and epidemiological service conducted control and supervisory measures to ensure compliance with labor conditions for agricultural enterprise employees.

The measures covered 55 entities and 91 facilities, with violations identified at 51 entities (or 93%) and 81 facilities (or 89%).

The largest share consists of violations related to the maintenance of territory, production, and sanitary facilities.

Based on the results of the supervisory measures, 26 orders (recommendations) for the elimination of violations were issued to the heads of organizations. 4 administrative offense reports were drawn up.

Work on conducting preventive measures during the sowing campaign will be continued.
