In accordance with the order of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, since September 19, 2022, mobile groups have been conducting raid activities to ensure compliance with labour protection legislation, with a focus on industrial and construction sites.
An inspection of 50 organisations of various forms of ownership has been carried out, covering 91 facilities.
412 violations were identified, including the stoppage of 25 units of equipment not meeting safety requirements, a ban on the production of 6 types of work, and the suspension of operations at one section.
Regarding all identified facts, 27 reports have been sent to district executive committees and 4 to prosecutor's offices for responsive measures.
Raid activities will continue until October 17.
The conduct of such events confirms the effectiveness of work in preventing violations of labour protection legislation and averting industrial accidents.
