The open competition of photographs and videos "We are proud of our Belarus!" is held until September 30, as reported to a BELTA correspondent at the National Historical Museum.
All interested individuals, regardless of age, professionals and amateurs from various regions of the country, and all residents of Belarus who care about their land, can participate in the creative competition, which is dedicated to the Year of Small Motherlands, the museum noted.
Photographs created using digital or analogue equipment, as well as video clips shot by any available means, are submitted to the competition. Laureates and winners will be determined based on the results and will receive diplomas and commemorative prizes. The final event will be a photo exhibition and presentation of video clips at the Museum of Modern Belarusian Statehood (a branch of the National Historical Museum).
The works will be evaluated by a professional jury consisting of representatives from cultural, educational, and information institutions, creative unions, clergy, government bodies, and mass media.
The award ceremony will take place in October in a solemn setting with the participation of distinguished guests and media at the Museum of Modern Belarusian Statehood, which is the organiser of the competition with the support of the Ministries of Culture, Information, and the public association "Belaya Rus".
