Belarus has announced a competition for reports on separate waste collection abroad, the press service of the Minsk City Executive Committee informed BELTA.
The competition is organised by the "Goal 99" movement and the State Institution "Operator of Secondary Material Resources". They invite Belarusians to pay attention to how foreigners handle household waste during their summer holidays abroad and to create reports about it. The authors of the best creative works will be awarded tablets and MP3 players, while all other participants will receive commemorative souvenirs.
The competition is held in three nominations: "Best Text Reports" (4 prize places); "Best Video Reports" (3 prize places); "Best Interviews with Local Residents" (3 prize places).
Residents of Belarus aged 15 and over are invited to participate in the competition, and one author can participate in several nominations. Submissions are accepted until September 30.
The results of the competition will be announced on October 12.
