On November 9, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. An open regional competition for the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee awards for talented young scientists and specialists has been announced in the region, BELTA reports with reference to the official website of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. The annual competition is held to stimulate research activities of young scientists and specialists engaged in promising research and development in organizations of the Vitebsk region. The competition is held in two nominations: "Fundamental Research" (three awards) and "Applied Research and Development" (four awards, including one for the best development for achieving results in economy and thrift). Doctors of sciences under 45 years of age, candidates of sciences under 35 years of age, scientists without a degree under 30 years of age, with at least three scientific publications in journals and collections of scientific works on the topic of the competition work, are eligible to participate in the competition.
