State traffic inspectors in Vitebsk will hold the "Safe with Mom!" campaign dedicated to Mother's Day, the official representative of the traffic police department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate, Alexander Kazuchits, informed a BELTA correspondent.
The event will take place on 14 October at Secondary School No. 38 on Moskovsky Avenue. A traffic town and colourful photo zones will be available for children, and a chalk drawing contest and demonstration performances by students of the Wushu sports school are planned. Their mothers will also participate in various contests, including diagonal parking and a traffic rules theory test. Husbands will help them score points: fathers will take part in a tug-of-war with a car. All participants can expect pleasant surprises.
The organisers invite all residents of the microdistrict to the celebration. The packed programme will provide a lot of positive emotions and serve as good team-building for the whole family. Similar events, on a slightly smaller scale, will be held on the same day in other district centres of the region.-0-
