On March 13, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The Queen of Spring will be chosen on March 14 in Vitebsk, the head of the youth affairs department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Valery Kunashko, told a BELTA correspondent. Thirteen representatives from four higher education institutions of the regional center will take part in the Vitebsk Regional Inter-University Competition of Grace and Artistic Skill "Queen of Spring-2012": Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, Vitebsk State Technological University, and Vitebsk State Medical University. During the theatrical show, the girls will have to demonstrate their ability to carry themselves and move on stage, their communication skills, sense of humour, and impress the jury with their intellectual and creative abilities. The programme includes a fashion show, musical, choreographic, and theatrical performances by the participants, which will help them to reveal their full potential. The well-deserved award for the winners, in addition to honorary diplomas and gifts, will be the right to represent the Vitebsk region in the republican final of the competition. The event is held within the framework of the International Inter-University Competition "Queen of Spring-2012" with the aim of increasing youth interest in moral and aesthetic forms of communication and recreation, promoting student creativity, and developing ties between young people. -0-
