The Belarus Cup in Autocross, dedicated to the Day of the Motorist and Road Worker, will be held in the agro-town of Tulovo, Vitebsk District, on October 20-21, as reported to BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk Regional Organisational Structure of DOSAAF.

Around 50-60 of the strongest racers from Belarus and Russia (Kaliningrad, Moscow, Smolensk, and the village of Krasny, Smolensk Region) will demonstrate their skills on the track near Vitebsk.

On the first day, the opening ceremony of the competitions and the final races of the "D-1" and "National-2000" classes will take place. October 21 will feature the most spectacular part of the automotive battles – the final races in the "D-2" and "D3-sprint" (buggy) classes. The "D-2" race will be the most massive, with about 20-25 racers simultaneously taking to the track. In total, about 10-12 teams will gather near Vitebsk. Among the participants are winners of previous years' competitions.

The races have been popular among the residents of Tulovo and Vitebsk, located a few kilometres from the agro-town, for several years, with the strongest racers converging for the Belarus Cup. "The roar of engines, spectacular stunts, and the opportunity to watch serious battles always attract spectators; the main thing is to dress for the weather," noted the regional DOSAAF structure.

Winners will be awarded cups and prizes from the organisers and partners of the auto forum. The Vitebsk Regional and Joint Organisational Structures of DOSAAF acted as the event organisers.
