This was announced to journalists today by the Chairperson of the Board of the National Bank, Nadezhda Ermakova, BelTA reports. "Based on the work we are doing, we see that it will be issued in the spring," Nadezhda Ermakova noted. She clarified that the banknote will be widely available to the public. Nadezhda Ermakova also spoke about the work being done to withdraw banknotes with a denomination of Br10 and Br20 from circulation. "This is a gradual process during which worn-out banknotes will be withdrawn and new ones will not be issued. But most importantly, there should be a corresponding rounding of prices," she said. The head of the National Bank clarified that this issue has not yet been officially resolved by the Ministry of Economy.
