Numerous media outlets published a photograph featuring a boy, Maksim, and a girl, Yana, in the foreground, next to the President at the New Year's celebration in the Palace of the Republic. The children presented flowers to the Head of State at the presidential Christmas tree. Yana Strelchenko lives in Lepel and is a fourth-grade student at Secondary School No. 3.
Since the age of four, the girl has been attending vocal and dance classes at the school of arts, and since the age of five, she has been playing the piano. Her vocal and music teacher is Tatyana Ermakovich. They say about such people: a teacher by calling is a gift from God. Thanks to her teacher, Yana began participating in various competitions from an early age. At the age of five, she debuted on the stage of the local RDC with the song "Queen of the Future." At eight years old, she participated in the II International Children's and Youth Creativity Competition "Cup of Europe," where she took third place. The year before last, she received a second-degree diploma at "Zolotaya Lira." She participated in "Khali-Halo," and then began taking first places – at the republican competitions "Novy Dvizh" and "I Respect You, Belarus," at the regional republican competition "Ruzha Viatroŭ" in Belarus. She went to Moscow and became a winner there.
