On July 16, Vitebsk /Alexander Sam - BELTA/. Laureates of the competition for young performers from different years will perform at the gala concert of Ukrainian masters of arts, which will take place today on the stage of the Summer Amphitheatre in Vitebsk. This was announced today at a press conference dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Culture at the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival by People's Artist of Ukraine, gala concert production director Anatoliy Solovyanenko, BELTA correspondent reports.
Anatoliy Solovyanenko, who is participating in the festival for the third consecutive year, noted that this year the Ukrainian masters have prepared an interesting programme, which will feature young Ukrainian performers who have successfully participated in international competitions, namely Ivan Berezovsky and Tetyana Shyrko. Alongside them, laureates of the Vitebsk competition for pop song performers will take the stage – Ukrainians Volodymyr Kvasnytsia, Vasyl Levytskyi, Inna Voronova, and Nataliya Valevska. "I believe the concert will be interesting for the festival's admirers, who will be able to appreciate the performers' mastery, and will serve as a kind of examination for the artists, who, returning to the stage of the Summer Amphitheatre, must demonstrate their achievements and professional growth," said Anatoliy Solovyanenko.
In addition, three outstanding masters of Ukrainian art will participate in the gala concert – the queen of Ukrainian romance Iryna Skazina, the maestro of classical music Volodymyr Hryshko, and the singer and composer Iryna Bilyk.
Volodymyr Hryshko, who attended the meeting with journalists, explained that today the concert audience will see the "second Hryshko," who will perform pop songs, not operatic compositions. Volodymyr Hryshko began performing pop songs on the advice of his teacher, Luciano Pavarotti.
"It is a great honour for the Ukrainian masters of arts to perform at the festival. I hope that the concert guests will derive immense pleasure from their performance," noted the Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Oleksandra Hubina. -0-
