It is now more comfortable to have your teeth treated at the dental department of Lepel Central District Hospital – the polyclinic has acquired new dental units.

The equipment is exclusively of Belarusian production. Everything is provided for the convenience of both patients and the dentist's work.

— Our specialists now have 4 new units at their disposal. They are equipped with modern equipment — high-speed handpieces, brush electric motors, and lighting. All new units are already in operation. The replacement was carried out in the budget treatment rooms, — explained the head of the department, Irina Giniel.

The head also added that the modernization of dental equipment has already taken place not only in Lepel but also in rural areas. Medical staff are working with the new units at the Domzheritskoye FAP, and at the Borovskaya, Kamenskaya, and Zaslonovskaya outpatient clinics.

Alena Serebryanaya, a dental paramedic, gladly explained how the diagnostics and treatment process has changed with the advent of new equipment. The specialist notes that such innovations have undoubtedly benefited both medical staff and patients.

— In my more than 30 years of work experience, I have had to work with various equipment. The current units are truly expert-class. They work silently and effectively. In addition, they have a stylish appearance. I think this will make a visit to the dentist more pleasant for both adults and children, — noted Alena Mikhailovna.

— A significant update of the dental equipment fleet became possible thanks to financial support from the republican budget. By the way, the cost of one unit is about 16 thousand rubles. The modernization will contribute to a significant improvement in the quality of specialized care provided, — commented the chief physician of the Lepel Central Regional Hospital, Alexey Prokofiev.
