Mark Mozgo, inspector of the supervision and prevention sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, conducted training events as part of the "Safety Day. Attention All!" campaign with senior students of the I.M. Erashov Gymnasium and Secondary School No. 1 in Lepel.
At the beginning of the meetings, students were thoroughly explained how to act upon the "Attention All!" signal. The rescuer also explained how to act correctly in various emergency situations and analysed the causes and consequences of different emergencies with the students using specific examples.
The most memorable part of the events for the students was the quest game and the blitz quiz, where each student could fully demonstrate their life safety skills, showcase their knowledge, and supplement their classmates' answers.
The rescuer also told the students about the operating principle and importance of installing an autonomous fire detector and familiarised them with its operating rules. The inspector conducted career guidance work with the students. He provided a detailed account of the history of the Civil Protection University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus. He spoke about its activities and excellent material base. He acquainted the students with the university's educational process, sports, and scientific activities.
To reinforce the information, thematic films "Attention All!" and "Live One Life – Save Thousands!" were shown to the students during the event.
At the end of the meeting, the rescuer answered all their questions.
