Residents of Staysky rural council observed the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) employees with caution as they approached the mobile shop. However, the rescuers quickly reassured the residents, as the purpose of their visit was prevention.
MES employees informed citizens about fire statistics in the district and region, provided examples of fires in rural areas, and discussed the rules for operating stove heating and electrical appliances. They reminded everyone that the most common cause of any emergency situation is carelessness, recklessness, and a negligent attitude towards one's own safety.
The topic of installing autonomous fire alarms was also addressed. MES representatives demonstrated and explained how this device works, providing examples of positive activations of autonomous fire alarms.
While explaining how to protect oneself and one's home from fire, rescuers distributed useful visual materials from the MES to all customers.
