As part of the second stage of the Republican campaign "Safe New Year", employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations organised and conducted preventive measures in large families.
The emergency services personnel were keen to remind the children about safety rules during the New Year holidays.
Rescuers reminded the children about the dangers of pyrotechnic devices, discussed the specifics of setting up a Christmas tree and using electric garlands during the New Year and Christmas holidays. The topic of ice safety was also not overlooked. The children were strictly warned against venturing onto thin ice.
In addition, rescuers held a themed competition, with the help of which the children practiced how to safely decorate a Christmas tree and what kind of decorations could be used. They also safely decorated a Christmas tree in one of the families.
At the end of the event, all the children received gifts from the rescuers.
