In order to monitor fire safety at construction sites in Lepel District, employees of the supervision and prevention sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted technical measures at particularly significant construction sites in the district: "Sports and Recreation Centre with a swimming pool in Lepel", as well as a number of capital repair facilities: "Capital repair with modernisation of the State Educational Institution "Zaslonovskaya Secondary School of Lepel District", "Capital repair of the sports hall of the State Institution "Lepel District Sports and Recreation Centre" at the address: Lepel, Lobonka St., 52a".

Particular attention was paid to mobile (movable) construction trailers and other temporary structures at construction sites, so-called "van-living quarters", as in most cases they are the sites of fires at construction sites. Attention was also paid to their placement in accordance with the construction organisation project, the installation and operation of stoves, heat-generating units and devices, as well as the quality of training of employees of construction organisations in fire safety requirements. During the measures, no major violations were found in the main part, however, there were also facilities where managers and officials of construction organisations do not have a proper understanding of fire safety provision.
During the measures, rescuers informed employees of contracting organisations about violations of fire safety requirements, and also promptly took response measures to eliminate all identified violations.
