As part of the republican campaign "Safe Holidays", Lepel rescuers conducted preventive measures for children from school camps.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations staff talked to the children about observing safety rules in public places and at home, when visiting forests, and about the dangers they might encounter during the summer holidays. The girls and boys gladly participated in quizzes and contests, solving thematic riddles. Then, all participants of the event went to the fire truck, where they were introduced to special equipment and elements of rescuers' combat gear. The children tried on combat uniforms, breathed using a compressed air apparatus, and sat behind the wheel of the fire truck. Water safety was also not overlooked. Through various games, the children reviewed the rules of safe behavior on water bodies. At the end of the events, the boys and girls received a lot of positive emotions and enriched their knowledge in the field of safety. Rescuers presented all participants with thematic fire safety booklets.
