As part of the "Safe New Year! " campaign, rescuers from Lepel have prepared safe correspondence for the city's elderly residents.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) employees decided to start the campaign with one of the most vulnerable categories of citizens – pensioners, who due to their age or health condition no longer visit the territorial centre for social services or attend mass events, and spend most of their time at home. As part of the "Safe New Year!" campaign, Lepel rescuers decided to remind the elderly about fire safety rules by sending visual materials by mail: the leaflet "Safe New Year!", "MES of Belarus. Help is nearby", "Rules for safe behaviour in various emergencies", "Useful tips from the MES" and, of course, thematic calendars "Don't wait for a squirrel – put out your cigarette!" will soon find their owners and will remind them of the inadmissibility of neglecting safety rules!
