New Year is a universally anticipated and beloved holiday. Bright garlands, decorations, toys, and decorated Christmas trees appear in almost every house, apartment, shop, and on the street. Fireworks explode, and sparklers are lit. However, even during such a festive and magical time, one should not forget about fire safety measures. Thus, an event was held in one of the large families as part of the "Safe New Year!" campaign.
Employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations (ROChS) interacted with the youngest members, reminding them of safety rules during the New Year and Christmas celebrations, explaining the dangers of using pyrotechnic devices, and recalling how to safely decorate a Christmas tree.
At the end of the event, everyone received New Year's gifts from the rescuers.
