Throughout the entire swimming season, the preventive campaign "Summer Patrol" is being held in Lepel district, aimed at preventing accidents on water.

With the aim of preventing deaths and injuries of people on water bodies, rescuers, together with representatives of the forestry enterprise, the Belarusian Voluntary Society for the Rescue of Persons on Water (OSVOD), and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, conducted a preventive raid on the most visited beaches of the town of Lepel.

Raid participants remind parents that children must be supervised by adults. Children need to remember that fooling around, playing, and diving can turn into a tragedy.

Rescuers advised beachgoers: it is advisable to swim in the morning or evening, enter the water gradually, swim along the shore or towards it, never enter the water while intoxicated, and do not dive in unfamiliar places.

They also recommended not to leave litter behind and to extinguish campfires properly, and to be extremely careful in hot weather.

The topic of visiting forests was also not overlooked. Rescuers told holidaymakers about the mobile application "Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus. Help is Nearby," which contains an interactive map that promptly updates information on the introduction of restrictive measures for visiting forests, as well as various adverse phenomena.

Citizens received important knowledge from the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees, as well as useful memos and brochures.
