As part of the first stage of the republican campaign "Youth for Safety", employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, together with activists of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers and Firefighters, continue to provide patronage assistance to the target audience.

Thus, a labour team of students from the Lepel Agricultural and Technical College helped collect apples for a Great Patriotic War veteran, Olga Ignatievna Shchevan'kova. Activists also helped a lonely pensioner, Tamara Nikolaevna Skorupo, tidy up her yard, collecting leftover harvest and mowing grass.

The rescuers conducted preventive talks with the citizens, outlined fire safety rules for the home, and provided the emergency service phone numbers 101 and 112. Useful thematic visual materials were also distributed.

Rescuers and activists wished the citizens health and longevity, and in return received many warm words of gratitude.
