To determine the level of students' knowledge in life safety fundamentals, draw the youth's attention to environmental protection and promote a healthy lifestyle, as well as popularise the rescuer profession and the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters, the district stage of the "School of Safety – 2020" competition was held on February 19 at the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations.
32 schoolchildren participated in the competition, organised into three age groups: pupils of grades 1-4, pupils of grades 5-7, and pupils of grades 8-11.
The prize-winning places were distributed as follows:
Grades 1-4:
1st place – Zenovich Evgenia, Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 3 of Lepel";
2nd place – Gorbachov Timofey, Educational Institution "Slobodskaya Kindergarten-Secondary School of Lepel District";
3rd place – Yaromenko Artur, Educational Institution "Kamenskaya Kindergarten-Primary School of Lepel District".
Grades 5-7:
1st place – Nakonechnikov Matvey, Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of Lepel";
2nd place – Vorobyova Olga, Educational Institution "Borovskaya Secondary School of Lepel District";
3rd place – Kashpor Vladilena, Educational Institution "Starolepel Basic School of Lepel District".
Grades 8-11:
1st place – Voronaya Valentina, Educational Institution "Polsvizhskaya Basic School of Lepel District";
2nd place – Buinitskaya Anna, Educational Institution "Gymnasium named after I.M. Erashov of Lepel";
3rd place – Tukhto Yaroslav, Educational Institution "Slobodskaya Kindergarten-Secondary School of Lepel District";
The participants who took first place in their respective age categories were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes, and will also defend the honour of Lepel District at the regional stage of the competition. We wish them good luck!
