To prevent fires caused by children’s mischief with fire, child injuries, and to conduct educational work on life safety with the younger generation, Darya Glinskaya, an inspector of the supervision and prevention department of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, held a safety lesson for third-grade students of the Zaslonovo Secondary School in the Lepel District.
To prevent fires caused by children’s mischief with fire, child injuries, and to conduct educational work on life safety with the younger generation, Darya Glinskaya, an inspector of the supervision and prevention department of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, held a safety lesson for third-grade students of the Zaslonovo Secondary School in the Lepel District.
The representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations explained to the children in an accessible way the consequences of children’s mischief with fire, spoke about safety rules, reminded them of emergency service numbers, and introduced them to the specifics of the firefighter profession.
To reinforce the acquired knowledge and train skills for proper behaviour in potentially dangerous and emergency situations, the children were shown a series of posters titled "Safety Backpack".
After the talk, the boys and girls gladly participated in quizzes, contests, and solved thematic riddles.
At the end of the meeting, for their active participation in the events, the children received useful visual materials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
