Lepel. Ensuring citizens' safety is the main task of inspection commissions

Today, training was held at the Lepel District Executive Committee for members of the city and district inspection commissions on the algorithm for organizing the activities of crime prevention entities to prevent offenses that contribute to people's deaths from external causes in the housing stock, with the participation of the chief specialist of the Supervision and Prevention Department of the Vitebsk Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Yevgeny Tsygankov.

Today, training was held at the Lepel District Executive Committee for members of the city and district inspection commissions on the algorithm for organizing the activities of crime prevention entities to prevent offenses that contribute to people's deaths from external causes in the housing stock, with the participation of the chief specialist of the Supervision and Prevention Department of the Vitebsk Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Yevgeny Tsygankov.

During the meeting, all attendees thoroughly analyzed, discussed, and studied the algorithm of criteria and signs of unsafe living conditions for citizens in the housing stock.

 - When inspecting households, it is necessary to pay attention to the basic requirements for the operation of stove heating, gas and electrical equipment, and the need to install autonomous fire alarms. It is imperative to conduct explanatory work with citizens on observing fire safety rules. Citizens who, for various reasons, require special attention are kept under special observation: large families, lonely and single elderly people, and citizens who abuse alcoholic beverages. The commission's task is to determine who needs help and who needs control. To achieve this, it is necessary to visit every house, even those where guests are not entirely welcome, - noted Yevgeny Mikhailovich.

As noted by the members of the inspection commissions, they often encounter people who are grateful for the advice on where and what needs to be corrected. Only by jointly influencing people's outlook and resolving citizens' safety issues can results be achieved, thereby preventing the possibility of emergencies.
