- We are located in a remote area - 170 km from Minsk, 110 km from Vitebsk. During the period of the Presidential Decree on the sale of land plots, 85 plots have been sold, and 162 dilapidated houses have been demolished. Last year, 1260 square meters of residential area were commissioned (about 13 houses). Since 2001, a mechanized team has been operating under the village executive committee, and since 2005, a communal unitary enterprise. 7 people are employed. It operates profitably, and I believe that there is no need to abandon it. We have all the equipment for land cultivation, which we leased and paid off in full. We can promptly provide assistance to citizens who apply at affordable rates. In winter, the CUP assists with clearing streets of snow. We clear about 12 settlements with the forces of the CUP. In addition, we purchase milk in two settlements.
Question: In the Vitebsk region, there are small-contour fields, often overgrown with woody and shrubby vegetation - alder, willow. Previously, this vegetation was cut down for stove fuel; today, the population more often uses electricity, and many have switched to gas heating. Cutting down alder is prohibited.
We request that the possibility of clearing arable fields of alder and using it for stove heating be considered.
