A resident of Lepel became the leader in his nomination in the vertical race "Bright vertical '23"

For the fifth time, the National Library of Belarus has hosted a vertical race organised by "Belarusbank" in conjunction with partners from the Adventure Racing Federation. Participants were challenged to ascend 591 steps faster than their rivals, conquering the "diamond of knowledge" at a height of 74 metres on the 23rd floor. Several categories were introduced for the race participants – two for children and two for adults, as well as a team competition.

Over 400 people participated in the event. Stanislav Shinkevich, a young resident of Lepel, took part in the competition. The young man is a student of the 7th "B" form at Secondary School No. 3 in the town of Lepel. In addition to his school studies, Stanislav attends an extracurricular physical education class with teacher Alexander Zaitsev. The boy has been training in boxing since the 2nd grade. In the evenings, he runs with his father on the ski-roller track or at the stadium. On weekends, his father takes his son to individual kickboxing training sessions at the "Kolizey" club.
