A resident of Lepel, Elena Grechnaya, has been awarded the honorary title "Person of the Year of the Vitebsk Region".

By the decision of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee No. 37 of January 24, 2022, the honorary title "Person of the Year of the Vitebsk Region" in the nomination "Agro-industrial complex, environmental protection, forestry" was awarded to Elena Grechnaya, head of the woodworking shop of the state forestry institution "Lepel Leskhoz".

The solemn award ceremony for advanced workers in various sectors, who have been awarded the honorary title "Person of the Year of the Vitebsk Region", took place today in the Polotsk Saint Sophia Cathedral.
The deserved award and flowers were presented to Elena Pavlovna by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.
