Very soon, on November 7, Belarus will celebrate the 105th anniversary of the Great October Revolution. Festive events dedicated to this important historical date are taking place across the country these days. The events of 1917 were also commemorated in the Lepel region.
In a solemn atmosphere, plaques with QR codes were installed at the братская могила (fraternal grave) on Privokzalnaya Square and at the memorial plaque erected in honor of Vera Margevich.
Representatives of the local authorities, heads of work collectives, representatives of the Communist Party of Belarus, public associations and organizations, youth, and labor veterans took part in the ceremony. These are representatives of different generations united by an active life position and respect for the past of our Motherland.
A solemn rally on the town square was held with the presentation of medals "100 Years of the Formation of the USSR" and "105 Years of the October Revolution."
The festive events continued in the hall of the district House of Culture, where servicemen of military unit 71327 presented their program. An exhibition, a photo zone, a career guidance talk, and a concert were organized for schoolchildren.
