On April 11, an oblast seminar-meeting was held in Lepel for deputy chairmen of district executive committees overseeing construction and housing and communal services, and directors of the oblast Capital Construction Departments. The event was chaired by Alexander Shidlovsky, Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. The "Village of the Future" project is being implemented in the republic starting this year. In the Lepel district, the village of Borovka was chosen as a flagship for this initiative, and the seminar participants were directed there. They were shown both existing and successfully operating facilities, such as the secondary school, the village council building, and the boiler house, as well as under construction, promising facilities: a multi-apartment residential building and a dormitory block of the "Zhemchuzhina" children's rehabilitation and health resort center.
