At the celebration honouring front-ranking industrial production workers, the assembly hall of the arts school was so full that there was no room to swing a cat. The car park in front of the building began to fill up an hour beforehand, and it was impossible to park a car immediately before the event started; motorists had to drive to the car park in front of the RDC.
The festive atmosphere was palpable even in the foyer: excited cultural workers greeted guests, registered them, and showed them to their seats in the hall. Artists in costume were preparing to take the stage.
Lepel District has always been renowned for its hardworking, diligent people, dedicated to their cause. Every work collective has rich traditions that have been formed and maintained for decades. A special category is work dynasties, which enterprises are particularly proud of.
Almost everyone at the celebration was an old acquaintance. It didn't matter that they worked at different enterprises, in different fields. Lepel's telecommunication workers, drivers, builders, process operators, foresters, turners... know each other well. In addition to working together for our Belarus, they are united by sincere friendship, mutual assistance, and a sense of camaraderie.
Over the past year, despite all objective difficulties and unexpected problems, the work collectives of Lepel District have achieved certain successes. The most important thing is that a stable growth trajectory has been achieved. This means that all of us together can look to the future with confidence.
