We draw the special attention of hunters to the fact that the failure of hunting participants to comply with elementary safety requirements – shooting at game animals along the firing line, leaving one's assigned position without permission, shooting at noise, rustling, or an unclearly visible target – are the main causes of accidents during driven hunts.

We remind you that in accordance with the Hunting Safety Rules, during driven hunts, hunters are prohibited from:
conducting it in conditions of poor visibility;
moving to the middle of the firing line, including clearings or roads, or to its side opposite the shooters' positions (stands);
changing positions, independently choosing locations, and leaving one's position before the end of the drive, except in cases where a hunter must provide immediate assistance to another person in distress;
using self-loading weapons with a magazine capacity of more than 10 rounds, as well as cartridges for rifled weapons with full metal jacket bullets and for smoothbore weapons with round bullets;
shooting at game animals along the firing line, outside their sector, after the signal to end the drive.
A shot along the firing line is considered a shot at such an angle to it that the projectile or part of the projectile will fly within 15 meters of a neighbouring position.
Each shooter standing at their position must know the exact location of the neighbouring positions and the entire firing line. Neighbouring shooters must show each other their positions before masking themselves at their stands.
During a driven hunt, weapons may only be loaded at the assigned position. Weapons must be unloaded before leaving the position.
Shooting during a driven hunt is carried out in accordance with the requirements established by the hunt leader.
Shooting during a driven hunt is carried out after the game animal has crossed the firing line. In exceptional cases, with the permission of the hunt leader, shooting inside and/or within the enclosure is permitted, provided that safety is ensured. The hunter taking the shot is responsible for the consequences of shots fired inside and/or within the enclosure.
A hunter may
to shoot only after ensuring that there are no people, agricultural or domestic animals in the direction of the shot.It is prohibited:
to board or disembark from a vehicle with a loaded hunting weapon;
to take a assembled hunting weapon out of a vehicle by the barrel(s);
to shoot at noise, rustling, at an unclearly visible target, in conditions of poor visibility (in dense fog, heavy snowfall, against the sun, etc.);
to shoot and be with a loaded hunting weapon at a distance of less than 200 meters from the nearest building of a populated area;
to shoot in the direction of people, populated areas, agricultural or domestic animals (except stray cats and mongrel dogs), vehicles with a smoothbore firearm for hunting at a distance of less than 500 meters from them and with a rifled hunting firearm – less than 2 kilometers;
to aim a hunting weapon, including an unloaded one, at a person, agricultural or domestic animals (except stray cats and mongrel dogs) or their accommodation;
to fire unnecessarily, to cock the hammer of an external hammer weapon or to disengage the safety of an internal hammer weapon;
to finish off a wounded hunting animal with the butt of a weapon.
Violation of the hunting safety rules entails administrative liability (a fine of up to 15 basic units, and for repeated violation of these rules within a year – a fine of 10 to 30 basic units or deprivation of the right to hunt).
