The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora informs:

In accordance with the Rules of Fishery Management and Fishing, anglers are permitted:

to catch no more than 5 kilograms of fish per angler per day in fishing grounds, except for fishing grounds leased (used) where paid amateur fishing is organised, and one fish if the total weight including its weight exceeds 5 kilograms, or one fish weighing more than 5 kilograms;
to catch fish as bait for catching other species of fish, no more than 30 pieces per angler per day.

It is prohibited:

to be present in fishing grounds or in the adjacent territory within a distance of up to one kilometre from the shoreline of fishing grounds with prohibited fishing gear and (or) fish, the catching of which is prohibited in this area and at this time, or whose weight exceeds the established norms, without documents confirming the legality of fish possession.

For this violation, liability is provided for in accordance with Part 2 of Article 15.35 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus. Violation of these requirements entails a fine ranging from 5 to 20 basic units.
