Objectives of the planned activities:
It is planned to construct a gas pipeline to the existing boiler house with the installation of an RPP through the lands of Lepel and Ushachi districts. Connection is made to the existing high-pressure gas pipeline of category II (P≤0.52-0.6MPa) PE 110 mm in accordance with technical specifications.
Justification for the planned activities:
Improvement of the environmental situation in the area where the enterprise is located, due to the reduction in the amount of pollutants emitted into the atmosphere when using natural gas compared to burning fuel oil in the boiler house, ensuring the thermal loads of the enterprise, installing more efficient equipment operating on environmentally friendly fuel gas with high efficiency.
Description of the planned activities:
The gas pipeline is laid underground using polyethylene pipes, and above ground using straight-seam electric-welded steel pipes. The underground gas pipeline is laid parallel to the terrain, and the above-ground section (gas pipeline exit from the ground to the Gas Pressure Regulating Station - GPRS). The underground gas pipeline is laid on a natural foundation (according to soil investigation data). The depth of the gas pipeline laying is 1.20-4.0m. The gas pipeline diameters are selected considering the existing loads of the "Ushachy" branch of CJSC "Vitebskagroproduct" based on hydraulic calculations. The length of the polyethylene gas pipeline is 12173.0m, and the steel gas pipeline is 2.0m. To reduce pressure from high to medium and maintain it at the set level, a GPRS with two reduction lines is installed. Shut-off valves are provided at the gas pipeline inlet to the GPRS. A commercial gas metering unit is designed in the GPRS to monitor natural gas consumption.
