High voter turnout was observed on the main voting day, January 26th, from early morning at all polling stations in the Lepel region.

Many noted that they traditionally vote on Sundays because there is always a festive atmosphere at the polling stations, a trade outlet is operating, and they meet many acquaintances and friends.

- This is a very important event, it cannot be ignored, as we are choosing the destiny of our country. We are voting for a bright future, and for this, Belarusian society must be united.

The head of the district, Mikhail Kiselevich, together with his family, cast his vote at polling station No. 4.

- Coming to the polling station with my wife and children is already a tradition for me. Since childhood, we have been telling our son and daughter about civic duty and why it is important to participate in the country's political process. My vote is for the bright future of our children, - said the Chairman of the District Executive Committee.

Mikhail Leonidovich also noted that the unity of Belarusians in these important days for the entire country is a fervent desire to be masters of their native land, to build a prosperous state, and to live in peace and harmony with everyone.
