Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs warns: telephone fraudsters may impersonate law enforcement officers or bank employees

Under various pretexts, individuals are persuaded to participate in a "special operation to expose fraudsters." To this end, they are urged to take out loans and transfer money to a "special protected account."
If you encounter a similar situation and have received messages or calls from unknown persons, claiming to be law enforcement officers, with an offer to take out a loan: - do not give in to persuasion; - do not disclose your confidential data; - do not install any applications on your mobile phone or computer; - do not grant access to already installed applications. If you have become a victim of such fraudsters, immediately inform the internal affairs bodies.
