The Lepel Centre of Crafts has launched a campaign dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, titled "Sciazhki Pieramohi" (Ribbons of Victory).

Thus, anyone can contribute their labour to the creation of the rushnyk and personally weave a few threads.

The editorial office of the district newspaper "Lepelski Krai" has also joined the campaign.

Believe us, this is a very interesting, engaging, and moving moment. Just imagine, in a few decades, or perhaps centuries, our descendants will hold this rushnyk in their hands with the firm conviction that Belarusians have always sacredly honoured the memory of our people's heroism.
