I learned that the youth of Lepel have been given the opportunity to participate in the international business game "Young Farmer". I asked Victoria Pshonko, the First Secretary of the District Committee of the BRSM youth union, to elaborate on this.
— Teams of up to five people aged 14 to 31 are invited to participate. These include schoolchildren living in rural areas, students of educational institutions with an agricultural focus, young specialists in the agricultural sector, as well as entrepreneurs engaged in the agro-industrial complex. Business ideas can be related to animal husbandry, crop production, agricultural cooperation, agrotourism, and landscape design. A free topic can also be chosen. To participate, it is sufficient to send an application to the territorial committees of the youth union, — says Victoria Viktorovna.
It turns out that the game includes regional, national, and international stages. The regional stage will be held in absentia until May 25. The international face-to-face stage, with project presentations to an expert council, will take place in one of the regions of Russia. Participants in the game will receive an assessment of their projects, and the winners will be awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts. It is planned that they will be invited for internships in the participating countries — Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Armenia.
The intellectual business game promotes the development of business planning skills, decision-making abilities, and teamwork among rural youth.
In Belarus, the game is organized by the BRSM with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Consultative assistance in conducting the game is provided by the Russian Union of Rural Youth.
