Young athletes from the judo section of the Lepel Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Sports School "Volat" returned with new victories from the Vitebsk Region Judo Championship. The regional championship was held in Polotsk as part of the "Olympic Youth Days" program.
In the weight category up to 55 kilograms, Dmitry Gruk, a student of the I. Ershov Gymnasium, took first place. Egor Tukhto (Secondary School No. 4) secured second place in the weight category up to 81 kilograms, and Alena Kamotskaya, a gymnasium student, was awarded third place in the category up to 48 kilograms.
The trip for our judokas was organised with the support of the Sports and Tourism Department of the District Executive Committee. A series of new successes awaits the young athletes ahead.
