  The seminar participants were welcomed by the enterprise director, Andrey Borodich. Afterwards, the cohesive team of young foresters visited the woodworking shop.

  The educational tour continued at the Stayskoye Forestry, where the young attendees were shown the modern administrative building and the well-maintained grounds.

  The Chief Forester, Andrey Starinsky, and the forester of this particular forestry, Andrey Demko, informed the young specialists about the existing features and specifics of working in forestries. The equipment of the forest fire fighting service was also demonstrated to the seminar participants.

  The next location left an unforgettable impression – compartment 69, where the attendees were acquainted with the treatment of forest crops against damage by wild animals using a biotechnological method.

  The cultural programme for the young foresters of the Vitebsk region included 2 sites that preserve the historical memory of our region – the district local history museum and the Crafts Centre.

  During the excursion, the young specialists learned about the way of life and traditional occupations of our ancestors, as well as many interesting facts about the Lepel district.
