Forest protection is actively carried out within the territory of the Lepel Forestry.

Its main task is not just to react to violations, but to prevent them in advance. As part of daily field activities, service employees meet with residents, tourists, summer residents, and guests of the district to remind them of the key rules of conduct in the forest. The main rule is that under no circumstances should dry vegetation or standing grass be burned, nor should fires be made outside specially designated areas. This is not just a recommendation – it is the law. We are not going to fine for the sake of fines. Our approach is dialogue, understanding, attention.

One forgotten campfire, a thrown match – and thousands of hectares of coniferous and deciduous trees disappear in a matter of hours. It is impossible to restore such a forest within one generation. Therefore, each of us is a responsible participant in this crucial work.
