Employees of the traffic police department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, together with the Juvenile Affairs Inspectorate, as part of the republican preventive campaign "Children are Safe in Summer" and the republican preventive action "Be Safe!", held a preventive event at the round-the-clock health camp based at the Educational Institution "Borovskaya Secondary School of Lepel District".
The children were reminded of the basic requirements of the Traffic Regulations regarding how young pedestrians and cyclists can safely be near the road. The inspector from the Juvenile Affairs Inspectorate informed them about the basic rules of behaviour on water bodies during the summer period and rules of behaviour at home.
The children also took part in an interactive game on traffic rules knowledge and solved traffic rule problems. They participated in reinforcing traffic rules knowledge at the traffic town and the use of child restraint systems. At the end of the event, the children received sweet gifts! Everyone received a positive boost of energy for the rest of their summer holidays!
