This was announced by Anatoly Razhanets, Head of the Department of State Social Support for the Population of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, during an online conference on the websites of BELTA and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection. "Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 29 April 2011 No. 176 "On State Support for Pensioners" provides for the annual right of citizens who have reached retirement age (men - 60 years, women - 55 years) to a 50 percent discount on the cost of travel on railway, water and road public passenger transport of regular suburban service (excluding taxis) during the period of seasonal agricultural work from May 1 to September 30," said Anatoly Razhanets.
