This opinion was expressed to a BELTA correspondent by the Minister of Culture of Belarus, Pavel Latushko, who was holding a reception of citizens on personal matters in Orsha. According to him, such events provide an opportunity to become acquainted with the real problems and needs that concern the population in the regions, and to receive information firsthand. In addition, holding personal receptions is fundamentally important for subsequent analysis and decision-making related to the development of the entire cultural sphere. "Therefore, this is a very significant and necessary undertaking," the minister emphasized. Pavel Latushko noted that an example of such a situation occurred today. In particular, a representative of the Belarusian Union of Artists raised the issue of the Ministry of Culture paying more attention to the activities of regional artists and the work of the expert council under the Ministry of Culture.
