In accordance with Article 212 of the Law of 14 October 2022 No. 213-Z "On Licensing" (hereinafter referred to as the "Law on Licensing"), the licensing of educational activities is carried out by the Ministry of Education, the Minsk City Executive Committee, city (cities of regional subordination) and district executive committees.
In accordance with the Law "On Licensing", the Lepel District Executive Committee carries out the licensing of services that constitute a licensed activity, as specified in subparagraphs 2.6-2.13 of paragraph 2 of Article 213 of this Law.
The licensed activity includes the following constituent services:
2.6. implementation of an educational program of preschool education;
2.7. implementation of an educational program of primary education;
2.8. implementation of an educational program of basic education;
2.9. implementation of an educational program of secondary education;
2.10. implementation of an educational program of special education at the preschool education level;
2.11. implementation of an educational program of special education at the general secondary education level;
2.12. implementation of an educational program of special education at the preschool education level for persons with intellectual disabilities;
2.13. implementation of the educational program of special education at the level of general secondary education for persons with intellectual disabilities.
In accordance with Article 214 of the Law "On Licensing", the Education Department of the Lepel District Executive Committee:
carries out the preparation of materials for decision-making on licensing issues;
notifies the applicant for a license, the licensee, of the decisions made by the licensing authority in relation to them;
conducts an assessment of the applicant's compliance with pre-licensing requirements, and the licensee's compliance with licensing requirements;
ensures the formation of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (ERL) regarding the licensed type of activity.
