At the hero's grave

Every year in February, gymnasium students gather at the old town cemetery, at the grave of the internationalist soldier Igor Solovyov. Igor, a former school graduate, died in Afghanistan. The pioneer squad "Vetraz" supervises the burial, participates in various military-patriotic events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Internationalist Soldiers and the Defender of the Fatherland Day. Children take part in the wreath-laying ceremony and recite poems at the monument. Internationalist soldiers Igor Tribo and Oleg Avsyanik were invited to this year's pioneer squad gathering, titled "Boys Came Back from Afghanistan".
