This rule does not apply to anglers who are members of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen. They are allowed to use up to 10 hooks while fishing. The use of setlines, tip-ups, and other similar systems and tackle is prohibited at night, as well as without indicating the surname and initials of the angler carrying out the fishing. In case anglers violating these rules are detected in water bodies, the inspectors have the right to bring the offender to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Article 16.25 of the Code of Administrative Offences, which entails a fine ranging from 10 to 30 basic units with or without confiscation of fishing gear.
